Drawstring Gift Bag from Alamosa Quilter

The last Saturday in January I had an LQS Day event at the shop. We had a short bolt sale. Afterwards we had some bolts left over so we have been getting creative with ways to use them.


One of the left over sale bolts was this Merrily fabric. The animal is fat quarter size. So I designed this lined drawstring gift bag using the animals. Shown is the moose. The others are a polar bear, a deer and a penguin. We kitted up the animal with coordinating fabrics, twill tape for the drawstring and a pattern. I'm pretty ...

Christmas is coming from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!


Before I get started today - I want you to know that I'm a very happy person and have an extremely positive outlook on life. I just have a different outlook on some aspects of life than others do and I'm quite happy to put traditions in the drawer and move on.

Loads of fun! from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!


I'm so not good at letting you know where I am and what I'm doing. I'm not sure why - I must try to be more open about that in the future.

Last night, I was the guest speaker at the Paris Bee Quilters in Paris, Ontario. As I drove through the downtown, I remembered that I'd had lunch with my friend Robin years ago and we shopped in the little shops along the street. Last night, the downtown area was decorated to the nines for Christmas.
